Who can win?
Eligible to participate are persons over the age of 18. Employees of Ötztal Tourismus and their relatives are not eligible to participate.
Procedure of the competition
Participation in the competition is free of charge. The competition starts in mid-June 2024 and ends in mid-October 2024 (until the winter closure of the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road.
Determination of the winner
The winner will be drawn at the end of the competition.
Notification of the prize
The winner will be contacted via the e-mail address provided and notified of the prize and asked for confirmation (acceptance of the prize and further contact details).
Prize
Starting place with accommodation for the Ötztaler Cycle Marathon 2025 raffled. The prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed in cash. A transfer to other persons is not possible. A participant can waive the prize. In this case, the competition prize will be randomly reallocated among the eligible participants.
Redeeming the prize
The competition prize can be redeemed at the Cycle Marathon 2025.
Liability
1. The organiser shall not be liable for errors in the transmission of data, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to and changes to participant data, technical faults of any kind, damage to the computer of a participant or any other person resulting from participation in the competition.
2. The organiser shall be liable without limitation insofar as the cause of the damage is based on intent or gross negligence.
3. Subject to availability, the organiser shall be liable for the slightly negligent breach of essential obligations, the breach of which jeopardises the achievement of the purpose of the contract, or for the breach of obligations, the fulfilment of which is essential for the proper execution of the competition and on the observance of which the contractual partners regularly rely. In this case, however, the organiser shall only be liable for foreseeable damage typical of the contract. The organiser shall not be liable for the slightly negligent breach of obligations other than those mentioned in the above sentences.
4. The above limitations of liability shall not apply in the event of injury to life, limb or health, for a defect following the assumption of quality guarantees for the quality of a product and in the event of fraudulently concealed defects. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
5. Insofar as the liability of the organiser is excluded or limited, this also applies to the personal liability of employees, representatives and vicarious agents of the organiser.
Data protection notice
1. The organiser collects and uses the data of the participants only for the purpose of the competition to be carried out.
2. The following data is collected from the participants by the organiser and is used to carry out and process the competition: first and last name, e-mail address and telephone number.

4. Upon written or textual request, participants may at any time request information from the organiser as to which personal data is stored by the organiser, may request its correction and deletion and may revoke their consent to the use of data. Final provisions
