Bike 4 Help Prologue

Welcome to the BIKE 4 HELP Prologue of the Ötztaler Cycle Marathon! The Prologue - taking place as part of our cycle marathon - promotes social sustainability and you as an Ötztaler Cycle Marathon participant can join in. On Friday, 30 August 2024, an exciting mountain sprint in individual time trial mode is scheduled. You have the great opportunity to take part as one of a maximum of 200 starters. The route is just 1 kilometer long and covers 105 altitude meters. The entry fee is 25 Euros and all net proceeds will be donated to the “Bike 4 Help” charitable institution. By taking part, you support local Tirolean families in need. Be there and let’s contribute to social sustainability together!

All participants must keep to the exact start time. If the competitor is not at the start at the specified time. he can no longer participate in the challenge and will not be scored. Paricipation in the raffle is still possible.

WHAT YOU GET The fastest 3 women & men receive a cup & non-monetary prizes.
The fastest 4 women & 16 men are allowed to start from start block 1c at the Ötztaler Cycle Marathon.
TOMBOLA RAFFLE Among all participants 20 additional persons will be drawn and they will also start from start block 1 c.
START NUMBER Start number will be the same as on race Sunday.
Therefore a start package pick-up in advance is necessary.
The start number must be taken along the ceremony.

  1. You must always follow the general traffic regulations (StVO) without exception because the road is NOT CLOSED. There may be cars or other "road users" on the track at any time. Delays due to traffic along the route are no reason for complaints.
  2. Every participant starts at his own risk.
  3. The organizer assumes no liability for accidents or other damages before, during or after the event (neither for or by third parties).

  5. The cyclists must always respect orders given by race officials and policemen. Undisciplined riders will be disqualified and deleted from the official result list immediately. Severe violations of traffic regulations (StVO) will be reported to the responsible authorities including all personal data.
